In this post, i will show you how to create an array manager by using the wizard.
Configure Network Settings of UAG01
1. Logon to UAG01 and navigate to Start > Forefront UAG Management
2. Click Configure Network Settings
3. On the welcome page, Next
4. Define Network Adapters
5. Define Internal Network IP Address Range
6. Finish
Create Array Manager (UAG01)
1. Continue from the previous section by clicking Define Server Topology
2. On the welcome page, Next
3. Select Array Member configuration
4. On the welcome page, Next
5. Set this server as the array manager
6. Enter the uagadmin domain account credential with password and enter domain
7. Add in UAG02 into array member computer list
8. Click Finish
9. OK. This server has been configured successfully as the array manager
10. Click Finish
Join Microsoft Update (UAG01)
1. Continue wizard from previous section by clicking Join Microsoft Update
2. On the welcome page, Next
3. In my environment, i select I do want to use Microsoft Update but you may choose the use Microsoft Update.
4. No, I do not want to participate
5. Click Finish
6. Close
7. Click Yes to activate the configuration now
8. Choose the auto backup directory and enter the password
9. Click Finish
You have configured UAG01 as array manager. The following post will show you how to join/configure array member.
