Install and Configure UAG 2010 - Part 4

In the previous post, i have created UAG array manager. In this post, i will show you how to join member computer in UAG array.

Configure Network Settings of UAG02
1. Logon to UAG02 and launch Forefront UAG Management

2. Click Configure Network Settings

3. On the welcome page, Next

4. Define Network Adapters

5. Define Internal Network IP Address Range

6. Finish

Join Member Computer into Array (UAG02)
1. Continue from the previous section by clicking Define Server Topology

2. Add this server to an array

3. Enter Array Manager with domain account credential that used to install array manager

4. Click Finish

5. OK. The server was successfully joined to the array

6. Click Finish

7. Exit the Forefront UAG Console

8. Launch the UAG Activation Monitor to verify the activation status

9. In the Forefront TMG, verify the configuration status in synced

10. In the UAG Web Monitor, verify the status of array monitor in synced

NOTES:

If the UAG services on the UAG02 don’t start after reboot, copy the content of installation folder D:\Program Files\Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway\von\Conf from the array manager to the array member server and start the services manually.
